Our Town

Featuring Southwestern College Drama students, we mounted Thornton Wilder’s iconic piece in the round set on the stage itself. With most of the theatrical elements stripped away, we focused on the beautiful language, the theatricality of the ‘empty space’, and the stunning costumes designed by Anastasia Pautova. Our design palette was in muted and subdued tones and fabrics throughout the entire piece except for when Emily’s returns to her birthday at the very end of the show.
