*A multi-media look into the Sondheim classic!
For this production we included two projectors and one upstage video monitor to use multi-media elements to bring us inside of Bobby's psychosomatic conversations. We recorded the cast in a sound booth prior to the production and synced the video with click tracks giving a seamless transition to onstage and video singing. This allowed for us to play with the staging and pressure put on Bobby during many of the numbers adding real pressure building to his revelation of "Being Alive". Sadly, photograph of video and multi-media elements don’t yield good results so the photos listed below do not do justice to this innovative and highly entertaining production!
